Skyrim Style

このテンプレートについて

The player walks out of a cave into a snowfield and sees a mountain on the horizon. They can walk to it. On the way, they stumble into a bandit camp, clear it, find a journal pointing to a ruin, and spend forty minutes dungeon-crawling before they remember where they were going. Skills level through use -- swing a sword enough and your one-handed skill rises, pick locks and lockpicking improves. Dragons land in the world unpredictably, radiant AI sends NPCs about daily routines, and the questline waits patiently while you pick flowers and craft potions.

Summer Engine helps you build the open-world exploration loop, usage-based skill progression, radiant quest generation, and first/third person toggle through conversation. You define the world, its factions, and what the player can interact with. The engine scaffolds NPC schedules, skill trees, crafting stations, and the seamless indoor-outdoor transitions that make exploration feel boundless.

The best Skyrim-style games succeed because the world feels alive without the player. NPCs have routines, wildlife roams, weather shifts, and quests generate from the world state rather than a static list. Players make their own stories by wandering and reacting to what the world throws at them.
