First-Person Horror Templates

Create first-person horror games with Summer Engine. Get inspired by templates below, or start from scratch with AI.

First-person horror puts you inside the fear with no buffer between you and what is coming. The camera is your eyes, the flashlight is your only comfort, and every corner is a place something could be waiting. Often you cannot fight at all, so the game is about looking, listening, and surviving the next room.

A template gives you that immersion ready: a first-person controller, a flashlight and controllable lighting, an audio system for ambience and stings, a pursuer with simple AI, and triggers for scripted scares. With Summer Engine, the AI game engine compatible with Godot 4, you stage the scares by describing them: ask for a monster that hunts by sound, a hallway that darkens behind you, a door that slams, or a hiding spot, and the AI wires the scenes and audio with you while you play in the dark to feel exactly when it lands.
