Stairs and ladders let the player move between heights, which quietly shapes how a level is built and explored. This collection collects stair and ladder art across the catalog: wooden and stone staircases, rope and rung ladders, fire escapes, and modular climb pieces for both 2D and low-poly 3D. Use a ladder as a climbable connector between platforms, stairs as a walkable ramp in a building interior, or a rope as the way up a cliff. Drop a ladder into Summer and ask the engine to make it climbable so the player can move up and down it, set stairs as a sloped walkable surface, or wire a climb animation, all built in chat. Because Summer is compatible with Godot 4, each piece imports as a standard sprite or mesh with the collision you need for a climb area or a slope. This set pairs with the buildings and platforms collections. Most stair art is free under CC0 or comparable open licenses suited to commercial use, with attribution-only pieces noted on their pages.
