We are starting a small crew of people who care about Summer and want to help it grow. In your region, your language, your community.
A note from Mathias
I am building Summer from Copenhagen, mostly alone, mostly at night.
The product is growing in places I cannot see. Someone in Japan downloaded it last week. Someone in Brazil. Someone messaged me from a city I had to look up on a map. I cannot meet all of them. I do not speak their languages. I do not know their gamedev communities.
That is why I want ambassadors. Not because I have a marketing plan. Because there are people out there who already care about Summer more than any ad I could ever buy, and I want to know them, give them tools, and let them help where they can.
This is brand new. We are figuring it out as we go. If you want to be part of building this from the start, come say hi.

What ambassadors actually do.
Pick what fits you. None of it is required. Most ambassadors do one or two of these well, not all four.

Help out in Discord.
Answer questions, jump in when someone is stuck, welcome new people. The Discord is where Summer happens. The more friendly faces in there, the better it gets for everyone.

Be the local face.
If you speak a language I do not, or live in a country I have never been to, you can reach people I never will. Share Summer however feels natural to you. Post in your local communities. Translate something. Tell a friend.

Build games and share them.
Make a full game. Make a janky prototype. Make a 30 second clip of something silly. Post it however you like. We will give you credits so the cost of building never gets in the way.

Be eyes on the ground.
Tell us what your community is talking about, what tools they use, what they wish a game engine could do. Intros to other devs are gold. We notice everything you send us.

Questions.
I don't have a big following. Should I still join?

Yes. We are not looking for influencers. We are looking for people who like Summer and want to see more games get made. If that is you, you fit.
How much time does it take?

As much or as little as you want. Some weeks you might be active in Discord. Other weeks you might disappear and build a game. There are no hours, no quotas, no check-ins.
Do I need to make videos or write blog posts?

No. If you enjoy making content, we will gladly support it with credits and feedback. If you do not, helping out in Discord and being part of the community is just as valuable.
What if I am not in an English-speaking country?

Even better. Local ambassadors are who we need most. We cannot reach Japan, Brazil, Korea, Germany, or anywhere else as well as someone living there can.
What kind of credits do I get?

Enough to build whatever you want in Summer without thinking about cost. We will sort it on a case by case basis when you join.
Is there merch?

Not yet. We have not made any. When we do, ambassadors get it first.
How do I actually join?

Hop into Discord and tell us you want to be an ambassador. We will get you set up. That is the whole process right now.
