Hero Shooter Templates
Create hero shooter games with Summer Engine. Get inspired by templates below, or start from scratch with AI.
A hero shooter trades a shared loadout for a roster of distinct characters, each with their own weapon, abilities, and role. The strategy lives in the lineup: who you pick, how their kits combine, and which ultimate fires at the right moment. It is a shooter where character identity matters as much as raw aim.
A template gives you that structure: a shooter controller, multiple selectable heroes with unique abilities and cooldowns, an ultimate charge, enemies or opposing players, and a health loop. With Summer Engine, the AI game engine compatible with Godot 4, you build the roster by describing it: ask for a healer with a beam, a tank with a shield ability, an ultimate that clears an area, or a new hero, and the AI wires the abilities and character data with you while you play to balance the kits against each other.
