Dictation types exactly what you said, and it is fast. When you want finished writing, select it and press ⌘E: Fix spelling and grammar, Make concise or Professional tone. Ums and all go in, the clean version comes out.
Ask it to draft a reply, format a list or tidy a rambling thought. If the clean-up ever fails, you still get your words.

Nothing shows until you press the key. Then a small pill at the bottom of the screen listens, and your words go where you need them.
Dictate anywhere
A document, a chat, a code editor, a search box. Hold Fn, speak, let go, and the text is there.
⌘E for actions
Select text and press ⌘E. Fix it, shorten it, turn it into bullets, or send it to Summer.
Ask Summer
Hold Fn + Shift and say what you want. Summer's agent gets it as a message and starts on your game.
Point at it. Circle it. Say it.
Hold Control while you talk and circle anything on your screen. Each circle adds a screenshot to your words, right where you said it.
It is made for playtesting. Circle the gap, say it is too wide, and Summer's agent sees exactly what you mean. It moves the platforms, and you try the jump again.
Four keys to remember.
Hold to talk, add Space to keep talking, Control to circle, ⌘E for actions. Change any of them in Summer Voice's settings.

Turn it on
Summer Voice comes in the Summer installer, off until you turn it on. It asks once for the microphone and Accessibility, each with one line of why.
It runs on its own
It works even when the Summer engine is closed. Find it any time: press ⌘Space and type Summer Voice.
Your words stay yours
Your history stays on your Mac. We do not keep your recordings or transcripts on our servers. Privacy and trust
Good to know
- Is it really unlimited?
- Yes. On Pro, Pro+ and Ultra you can dictate as much as you like. It is part of your subscription, with nothing extra to buy.
- And on the free plan?
- Summer Voice works on the free plan too. Dictation uses your normal Summer credits.
- Is it on by default?
- No. Summer Voice comes in the Summer installer and stays off until you turn it on. If you already use another dictation app, nothing changes.
- Does Summer need to be open?
- No. Summer Voice runs on its own, even when the Summer engine is closed. Press ⌘Space and type Summer Voice to find it.
- What if another app already uses Fn?
- Summer Voice notices when macOS dictation or another app has Fn, and offers Control + Option instead. You can change any key in its settings.
- Will people hear me talking to my computer?
- Yes. Give them a week. Then they will ask how you got so fast.
- Which computers does it run on?
- Mac today, on macOS 13 or later. The Windows version is on its way.
