Skateboarding Game Templates
Create skateboarding game games with Summer Engine. Get inspired by templates below, or start from scratch with AI.
A skateboarding game is about flow, tricks, and the lines you find in a space. You build speed, pop into the air, chain grinds and flips, and string it all into a combo that scores on style and length. The genre rewards mastery of a moveset and creativity in reading a park for the best run.
A strong base is a skater with momentum-based movement, a trick system for jumps, flips, and grinds, a combo and scoring system, a park or street level full of rails and ramps, and a balance or landing mechanic. The craft is in controls that make linking tricks feel smooth and a level built to be skated.
Because Summer Engine is an AI game engine compatible with Godot 4, you build the run by describing it: ask for a grind that scores per second, a manual to link two combos, a half-pipe section, a multiplier for trick variety, or a bail when you miss a landing, and the AI wires the tricks, scoring, and level with you while you skate your own build to dial the feel until the lines flow.
