How to use it

Choose a PNG sheet and mark its exact grid. The tool reads frames left to right, then top to bottom, and encodes them as a GIF at 1–50 frames per second.

  1. Choose a PNG sprite sheet or try the sample.
  2. Set frame size, margin, spacing, count, frame rate, and looping.
  3. Preview the order and download the animated GIF.

Use the GIF for previews or places that accept animated images. For game animation with full PNG color and alpha, import the PNG sheet directly.

Questions

Can the GIF keep every PNG color and alpha value?
No. GIF uses a palette of up to 256 colors and either transparent or opaque pixels. Soft edges and partial transparency may change.
How do I control the speed?
Set frames per second before converting. GIF timing uses 10 ms steps, so the saved speed may be rounded.
