How to use it

Set an exact grid for a PNG sheet. The tool cuts frames from left to right, then top to bottom, at the original pixel size. It does not find sprites automatically.

  1. Choose a PNG sprite sheet or try the sample.
  2. Enter frame width, height, outer margin, spacing, and frame count.
  3. Check the cuts, then download the ZIP of PNG frames and JSON.

Unzip the frames and import the PNG files in order. Use the JSON frame list if your workflow needs file names and positions.

Questions

Can it find unevenly placed sprites?
No. Every frame must fit the grid you enter. Trim or arrange an uneven sheet in an image editor first.
Will it resize my frames?
No. Each PNG keeps the pixels in its selected rectangle, within the file and pixel limits.
