Immersive Sim Templates

Create immersive sim games with Summer Engine. Get inspired by templates below, or start from scratch with AI.

An immersive sim is built on systems that let the player solve problems their own way. A locked door is not one puzzle with one answer; it is a hack, a key, a vent, or a stack of crates, because the world's rules are consistent enough to combine. The reward is emergence: solutions the designer never explicitly placed.

A template gives you that systemic base: a first-person character, interactable objects with real properties, an inventory and ability or tool set, simple AI that reacts to the world, and an objective. With Summer Engine, the AI game engine compatible with Godot 4, you deepen the systems by describing them: ask for a hackable terminal, a guard that hears noise, a vent route around a room, or an item that combines with another, and the AI wires the rules and reactions with you while you play to find the emergent paths yourself.
