Colony Sim Templates
Create colony sim games with Summer Engine. Get inspired by templates below, or start from scratch with AI.
A colony sim hands you a group of people and a hostile patch of world, then asks you to keep them alive and thriving. You do not control them directly so much as set priorities, build infrastructure, and react as needs, moods, and emergencies pull the colony in different directions. The stories that emerge from those systems are the whole point.
A template gives you that simulation running: colonists with needs and tasks, a buildable environment, resource gathering and storage, a job-priority system, and threats or events that test the colony. With Summer Engine, the AI game engine compatible with Godot 4, you grow it by describing it: ask for a colonist mood that affects work, a food supply that runs down in winter, a raider attack, or a new room that boosts morale, and the AI wires the needs and systems with you while you play to watch how the colony copes and where it breaks.
