How to use it
This preset uses the hit shape at 0.28 seconds, pitch 210 Hz, and seed 19. A mix of noise and tone loses level quickly for a short impact.
- Generate the impact preset and listen beside your visual hit effect.
- Adjust pitch for a lighter or heavier cue; regenerate after changing duration.
- Download the WAV and trigger it on the impact event.
Import the mono WAV as a one-shot hit cue. Pair it with the exact frame of contact and set its level against other effects.
Questions
- Does it react to collision strength by itself?
- No. The WAV is fixed. Change playback level or choose a different variant in your game for stronger hits.
- Why does it end quickly?
- The hit shape has a steep fade. Use the explosion preset if you need a longer noisy tail.
