How to use it

This preset synthesizes 1.25 seconds of low, filtered noise with a small tone component at pitch 140 Hz and seed 19. It fades rather than looping.

  1. Generate the explosion preset and listen through its full tail.
  2. Adjust duration for the size of the event, then compare pitch at the same playback level.
  3. Download the WAV and play it once when the explosion starts.

Import the 16-bit mono WAV as a one-shot effect. Test its tail against dialogue, music, and other explosions before setting the final volume.

Questions

Is the sound a seamless loop?
No. It is a one-shot with a fading tail. Retrigger it for separate events.
Can I make it longer?
Yes. Raise duration and generate again; the control allows up to 3 seconds.
