How it works
Pick your story
The science fair, the volcano project, the school garden or the class play. Then 3 minutes of questions: your class name, what you're learning, and each student's first name with one kind trait from a list.
We check and build it
A person checks every class game before we build it. No student fills in anything.
Play it in class
Open the link on the classroom screen and play in small groups.
Questions
How much does it cost?
You answer the questions first. To start building your game, you pick a Summer Engine plan at the end: Pro or Pro Plus, billed monthly, cancel anytime. Your plan keeps your game running, and you can change it afterwards.
Do students need accounts or email?
No. Students never sign up or fill in anything. Only the teacher answers.
What about privacy?
First names only, kind traits from a fixed list, no photos, and a person checks every request before we build it. You get one link. Send it to your people and play together. We never feature kids' games.
How long does it take?
About 3 minutes for you. A person checks every request, then we build your game and email you the link. Usually within a day after we check your request.
Does it work for any subject?
Yes. Pick the topic and the signs and posters are drawn from it: volcanoes, fractions, the solar system, ancient Egypt, or your own.
What do we play it on?
A laptop or classroom computer with a browser, and small groups take turns. Play together on one computer today. Online play from separate devices is coming soon.
Can I change it?
Yes. People can add their cards until we build it, and every player can change their own character in the game. For anything else, reply to our email with your link.
