Edited image: Image surgery, not redraw. The 16-bit pixel-art desk sprite must stay EXACTLY as it is: same pixels, same size, same position, same resolution, same chunky hard-edged pixel grid (no anti-aliasing, no smoothing), same strict warm palette, the same worn wooden desk with dark metal legs, the same boxy CRT monitor with its glowing cyan screen blocks, the same keyboard slab, mug and swivel chair. No restyle, no redraw, no upscale, no added or removed detail, no relighting, no recolouring. Change ONLY the area around the desk. The background currently has a teal/grey checkerboard pattern painted into the pixels. Completely erase that checkerboard and replace the whole background behind and around the desk with one completely flat, uniform, solid magenta color (#FF00FF), which is NOT a color used anywhere in the sprite itself. The magenta must cover every background pixel uniformly with no checkerboard, no square tiles, no pattern, no gradient, no texture, no shadow, no drop shadow, no ground shadow, no reflection, no border, no frame, no leftover checker fragments, and no fringe or halo of checkerboard colors clinging to the desk, monitor, chair or legs. The boundary between the desk assembly and the magenta is a crisp, hard, pixel-sharp cutout edge all the way around the silhouette, with every blocky pixel step ending in a sharp precise edge directly against the flat magenta.
