Ming Shenjiying Hand Cannoneer 15th c

Generated from: Osprey Men-at-Arms military history plate illustration, semi-realistic historical gouache artwork, muted restrained palette of grey, iron and indigo, accurate East Asian dress, strong readable silhouette. A SINGLE figure: one Ming dynasty Shenjiying gunner of the 15th century serving a bronze hand cannon. He wears a padded cloth coat with a crossed bandolier of cloth powder charges slung over his chest, a conical iron helmet, and cloth puttees with straw sandals, and he aims or loads the bronze hand cannon braced on a wooden rest, with a small powder flask at his belt. Three-quarter top-down view facing right, centred on a plain flat light grey background with a soft dark ground shadow. Entire figure in frame, no cropping, no text, no border, no frame, no other figures, no horse.
