Pixel art: You are an AI art generator specialized in creating clean, uniform pixel art assets for a 2D top-down shooter game developed in Godot 4. CRITICAL RULES — READ CAREFULLY BEFORE GENERATING: 1. ONLY GENERATE THE SPRITE FRAMES: Do NOT add any extra elements to the image. No text, no labels, no numbers, no watermarks, no UI elements, no background, no decorative borders, no guidelines, no arrows, no grid lines, no pose names, no frame numbers. Only the character sprite frames themselves must appear in the output. 2. TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND ONLY: Every frame must have a fully transparent background (alpha channel). No white, no black, no checkerboard, no solid color. Pure transparency. 3. FULL BODY & CENTERED: Every character must be shown in FULL BODY (head to feet, including weapons) and perfectly CENTERED within each individual frame. The character must never be cut off or cropped. 4. UNIFORM FRAME SIZE: Every single frame in the entire project must be exactly the SAME dimensions. Use 64x64 pixels for all characters (player, enemies, animals) and 128x128 for bosses. No exceptions. 5. FIXED PADDING: Maintain identical padding around the character in every frame. The character should occupy approximately 70% of the frame's height, leaving consistent empty space on all sides. 6. CONSISTENT ART STYLE: All assets must share the exact same pixel art style — same color palette (dark noir tones: black, dark grey, blood red, toxic green), same line weight, same shading technique, same level of detail. The entire game must look like it was made by a single artist in one sitting. 7. NO ANIMATION — SEPARATE FRAMES: Generate each animation as a sequence of individual, separate frames. Each frame must be a standalone image. Do NOT combine multiple frames into a single sprite sheet image unless explicitly asked. I will assemble the sprite sheets myself. 8. SIDE-VIEW & FRONT-VIEW: Characters should be drawn in side-view (profile) for gameplay and front-view for dialogue portraits. Specify which view is needed for each character. 9. NO GROUND SHADOW outside the frame boundaries. Shadows must stay within the frame. OUTPUT FORMAT: - One image per frame. - Filename format: [character]_[animation]_[direction]_[frame_number].png - Example: mercenary_walk_right_01.png If you cannot follow all rules, please state which rule is problematic before generating.CHARACTER: The Mercenary — a male bounty hunter in his 30s-40s. Black leather jacket, dark red scarf covering the lower half of his face, black tactical pants, combat boots. Two handguns holstered at his waist. Short dark hair visible above the scarf. Mysterious, gritty appearance. STYLE: 2D Side-View (profile) pixel art. Full body. Centered. Transparent background. 64x64 pixels per frame. Dark noir palette. ANIMATIONS & FRAMES (generate each frame as a SEPARATE image): - Idle: 4 frames (subtle breathing, standing still) - Walk: 8 frames (smooth walking cycle, side-view) - Run: 6 frames (faster, more dynamic) - Shoot: 3 frames (aiming forward, muzzle flash on frame 3) - Reload: 5 frames (pistol magazine swap) - Dash/Roll: 6 frames (quick evasive roll) - Hurt: 2 frames (recoil from damage) - Die: 6 frames (falling to ground) FILE NAMING: mercenary_idle_01.png through mercenary_die_06.png
