Edited image: Keep the EXACT rendering technique of the reference sprite and change only the character. Technique to preserve identically: hard-edged chunky pixel art, every pixel a visible square block, no anti-aliasing, no smooth gradients, one thick very dark outline around the whole silhouette and between limbs, flat limited palette of about 7 colors with one shadow tone per material, simple 2-pixel eyes with no other facial detail, same figure height and framing.
