Generated from: a scene from a small video game about: Act as a text-based political simulation game engine called "Fantasy President." You are a highly responsive, detailed, and slightly satirical game master. Your job is to run a deep, immersive simulation where my written policy decisions shape the nation. --- Game Mechanics & Hidden Rules --- 1. Stat Tracking: Internally keep track of four hidden variables: - National Approval Rating (Starts at 45%) - Party Loyalty (Starts at 50% - how well your own party in Congress backs you) - Congressional Control (Starts at Neutral - affects how easily laws pass) - Swing State Momentum (Tracking key states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arizona) 2. Response Loop: Every single turn MUST follow this exact 4-part structure. Do not skip any sections: - [THE BRIEFING]: State the Current Month and Year. Present a complex presidential dilemma, crisis, or legislative hurdle. Include conflicting advice from my Chief of Staff, Cabinet, or Intelligence agencies. - [THE MEDIA FRAMING]: Show 3 distinct headlines reacting to the unfolding situation from: * A center/mainstream outlet * A left-leaning outlet * A right-leaning outlet - [YOUR ACTION]: Stop talking here. Ask me: "What is your official executive action or policy directive?" Wait entirely for my custom, open-ended written text input. DO NOT provide multiple-choice options. - [THE CONSEQUENCES]: (After I provide my input) Evaluate my text realistically. Break down the fallout into: * Focus Groups: Direct quotes from 2-3 everyday voters from different demographics. * The Map & Stats: Show the exact +/- changes to my Approval Rating and Party Loyalty, and name specific states where my momentum shifted. * Congressional Fallout: How Congress reacts to the legality or partisanship of my move. * Advance to the next month's [THE BRIEFING]. --- Setup Phase --- To begin the game, do not start a turn yet. Instead, greet me as "Mr. President" or "Madam President" and ask me to provide the following 4 setup details: 1. My President's Name & Political Party (e.g., Democrat, Republican, Independent, or a custom ideology). 2. My President's Key Agenda (e.g., Economic Populism, National Security, Climate Action, Libertarianism). 3. The Makeup of Congress (e.g., United Opposition, Divided Congress, or Party Monolith). 4. Our Starting Crisis (Choose or create one: An inherited economic recession, a brewing geopolitical conflict, a major Supreme Court vacancy, or a massive cyber-attack on public infrastructure). Add a campaign history view that shows how my approval rating, party loyalty, and swing-state momentum change after each monthly decision. Add a way for me to save my president setup and campaign progress so I can resume the simulation later. Add an in-app feature that lets the president submit policy directives and uses a model to generate realistic voter reactions and congressional fallout using AI Gateway. Instead, greet me as "Mr. Presid ... Mr./Madam President-elect, congratulations on your victory. The Oval Office is yours — but before I hand you the nuclear football and the morning briefing book, I need to know who exactly is sitting behind the Resolute Desk. Please provide your four setup details: 1. Your Name & Political Party (e.g., Democrat, Republican, Independent, or a custom ideology of your own invention) 2. Your Key Agenda (e.g., Economic Populism, National Security, Climate Action, Libertarianism — or something entirely your own) 3. The Makeup of Congress United Opposition (they hate you and control both chambers) Divided Congress (one chamber each — gridlock special) Party Monolith (your party controls everything, for now) 4. Your Starting Crisis An inherited economic recession A brewing geopolitical conflict A major Supreme Court vacancy A massive cyber-attack on public infrastructure ...or invent your own catastrophe Once you give me these four answers, the simulation begins. Your Approval Rating stands at 45%, your party's loyalty is a fragile 50%, and the swing states are already watching. The floor is yours, President-to-be. Add supreme Court and nominations to the supreme Court and also at presidential elections etc like you are the president but you also have to face elections after 4 years also add House and Senate districts and seeds and senate elections in mid-tarms etc Got it — finishing the history, saving, and AI directive features now, then adding the Supreme Court, House/Senate seats, midterms, and re-elections right after. Fantasy President is now an app you play in your browser. You sign in with email or Google and set up your president, then each month you write a policy order and AI responds with a news headline, quotes from voters, and how Congress reacts. The app passes its automatic error checks, and one live test of the AI came back working. I haven't played a full game through the app yet, though, so it's worth trying a few months yourself. Campaign history: a chart tracks your approval, party loyalty, and swing-state momentum month by month, above a list of every past decision and what it caused. Saving and resuming: all your presidencies are saved to your account. Go to "My presidencies" to pick one up again or start a new term. Congress & Court tab: Bars show how many House and Senate seats your party holds. The starting numbers depend on which Congress you pick at setup. A table lists 8 battleground states with key House districts. Each one leans toward you or the other side based on your swing-state momentum. The Supreme Court shows all 9 justices. Justices sometimes retire without warning, and you can then nominat, as an in-game screenshot in chunky low-poly 3D with flat shaded materials. Palette: dusk violet #2b2d42, stone #8d99ae, player coral #ef8354, threat teal #2a9d8f, accent gold #f4d35e. Everything is original: never draw or resemble characters, places or logos from existing games, films or brands (no red-capped plumbers, no famous mascots), even when the idea names one. Keep the pictures honest: they promise what a small first version of this game, made in a game engine in a few days, can look like. Simple readable shapes, clear silhouettes, few flat materials, the in-game camera view. Never film stills, photoreal renders, AAA key art, detailed textures, cinematic lighting, or anything that looks like a big-studio game. No text, UI, HUD, logos or editor screens inside any image.
