Nara pangolin inventor - base design

Generated from: Hand-painted gouache illustration of an original character for a 2D side-scrolling platformer: Nara, a young female anthropomorphic pangolin inventor, upright bipedal stance, full body, standing relaxed facing right (her snout points toward the right edge of the image). Rounded pangolin head with a short tapered snout, small rounded ears, warm cream muzzle and belly, layered overlapping amber and olive-brown scale plates along the back, shoulders and a thick tapering tail curving behind her. Dark friendly eyes, expressive raised eyebrow line. A mossy green knitted scarf wrapped around her neck with a loose trailing end hanging down her back. On her right forearm she wears the Germinator Gauntlet: a chunky oversized mechanical gauntlet of bronze and teal metal with glowing cyan seams and a small open seed muzzle at the wrist, the only cyan glowing object on her. Simple mossy green cloth shorts and an inventor's belt with small pouches, bare scaly feet with claws. Expression calm, curious, slight smile. Art direction: soft gouache brushwork, visible painterly brush edge variation, warm rim light from the upper left, gentle core shadows, premium indie storybook illustration, warm cream and amber palette with olive and teal accents. Strictly not pixel art, not flat vector, not cel shaded, no black cartoon outlines, not a 3D render. Composition: character centered horizontally, standing upright with both bare feet flat on the very bottom edge of the square canvas, claws touching the bottom border, head nearly reaching the top border so she fills about 92 percent of the frame height, nothing cropped. Flat uniform pale warm neutral background, no ground shadow, no floor, no props, no text.
