Brandt looks up

Generated from: Cinematic 35mm film still: a church fellowship hall, photographed from the back row over the heads and shoulders of a seated crowd who all face the small stage. At the front, standing behind a folding table with an open laptop, a nineteen year old young man in a white button-down shirt with his sleeves rolled, short dark hair, clean shaven, is caught looking up and out past the crowd, straight toward the camera, his mouth open mid-sentence. He is the only person in the room not looking at his own feet or at the screen. Harsh fluorescent strip lighting, blank projector screen, linoleum floor, radiator, rows of metal folding chairs, muted palette, fine grain, tense, no text.
