## 把 Summer 连接到 Goose

### 安装 Summer Engine  
下载桌面引擎应用，约 1 GB。如果已经安装 Summer Engine，或只需要为其他引擎做的游戏生成素材和视频，可以跳过。  
$ npx -y summer-engine@latest install

### 登录  
会打开一次浏览器。CLI 和引擎共用同一个会话。  
$ npx -y summer-engine@latest login

### 连接 Goose  
写入 summer-engine 的 MCP 配置，并安装 Summer 游戏开发 skills。  
$ npx -y summer-engine@latest setup goose --yes

### 重启并开始制作  
重启 Goose 以加载 summer-engine 服务器，然后让它做一个游戏。

### Summer is a Goose extension

The setup command adds summer-engine as a command-line extension in \~/.config/goose/config.yaml (%APPDATA%\\Block\\goose\\config\\config.yaml on Windows). Restart Goose and it is listed under Extensions. To add it by hand instead, run \`goose configure\` → Add Extension → Command-line Extension with the command \`npx -y summer-engine@latest mcp\`.

### Point Goose at a local model

\`goose configure\` → Configure Providers → Ollama with host localhost:11434\. Pick a model with native tool calling, like gpt-oss-20b or Qwen3-Coder-30B; Goose’s toolshim mode for non-tool-calling models is slower and less reliable.

### Mind the context window

Ollama defaults to a 4k context on GPUs under 24 GB of VRAM — too small for MCP tool schemas. Start it with OLLAMA\_CONTEXT\_LENGTH=65536, and keep only a couple of extensions enabled so tool schemas leave room for actual work.
