Summer API

# Every game asset, one API.

Create everything you need for your game with one API: 3D, images, video, voice, sound and music. Your code and your agents get the models behind Summer, the game engine built for AI. One sign-in, one credit balance, files ready for your game.

[Get started](https://www.summerengine.com/studio/developers)

[Browse models](https://www.summerengine.com/models)

No markup on assets. Every model at the provider's list price. [Read the API docs](https://docs.summerengine.com/api)

## Give it to your agent.

Paste one line into your coding agent. It signs in with Summer, you approve it and pick its spend limit, and it makes what your game needs. No key to copy or leak.

Paste into your agent

```
Make the assets for my game with the Summer API. Run `npx -y summer-engine@latest login` and ask me to approve, then read https://docs.summerengine.com/llms.txt and make what the game needs.
```

Copy

Or sign in yourself

```
npx -y summer-engine@latest login
```

Copy

## One call, one 3D model.

Sign in once with summer login, then run it. The answer is the finished job, with a link to the GLB in your Summer assets. Every model page has the same call for that model.

[Quickstart in curl, TypeScript and Python](https://docs.summerengine.com/api/quickstart)

CLI

```
summer api run 3d/default --input '{"prompt": "a treasure chest, game prop"}' --wait
```

Copy

curl

```
curl https://www.summerengine.com/v1/jobs \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $(summer token)" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -H "Prefer: wait=60" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"model": "3d/default", "input": {"prompt": "a treasure chest, game prop"}}'
```

Copy

## Put together for your game.

That is the point: every model in one place, tested for games, so one agent can run a whole pipeline. A character from a concept to an animated mesh, a cutscene with its sound, a talking character, a trailer.

* ### A playable character
From one concept to a rigged, animated 3D character in your scene.

  3. [3 . Motion Meshy animation library Idle, walk and run](https://www.summerengine.com/models/meshy-animation-library)
* ### A cutscene
A key frame of your own art, brought to life, with its sound and score.

## Every model, at list price.

No markup on assets. Every model at the provider's list price. 103 curated models, tested for games, each with its price on its page. Call one by its id, or use the default for its kind.

* ### One sign-in, every model
One REST API for every capability, with the same job shape for all of them. Short jobs come back done; long ones you wait for, follow or get a webhook for.
* ### Files ready for your game
Summer picks tested defaults, sizes 3D models for games, and saves every file to your Summer assets with a stable link.
* ### Pay per call
Usage is paid from your Summer credits, at the provider's list price. Give each app its own spend limit. No plan needed.

## Good to know

What does a call cost?

No markup on assets. Every model at the provider's list price. Every model page shows its price, GET /v1/models lists them all, and POST /v1/estimate gives the exact price of one request before you run it. Usage is paid from your Summer credits; no plan is needed.

How do I keep an agent from spending too much?

Give every connected app its own spend limit when you approve it ($5 is a good start), reset each day, week or month. See what each one spent, and revoke it at once, in Studio under Developers.

Are there rate limits?

No rate limits on paid usage. Big batches queue and run in order: send up to 500 jobs in one call, and each account runs 10 at once, rising to 40 as you buy more credits. Your credits and each app's own limit are the only limits.

Which agents work with it?

Any agent that can run a command or make an HTTP call: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and the rest. The Summer CLI signs them in, and the docs have an llms.txt written for agents.

Where do the files go?

Every finished file is saved to your Summer assets, private unless you ask for public, with a stable link. The same file opens in Summer Engine.
