### [About Summer](https://www.summerengine.com/about)

We wanted to make games.

We wanted to make games, build worlds and play them with our friends. Each time something got in the way, we built the missing piece. That became Summer Engine and Summer Games.

### [Our values](https://www.summerengine.com/values)

Games should make you feel something.

A world you remember. A story that stays with you. A ridiculous evening with friends. We are building Summer because games can do things no other medium can—and we want more people to make them.

### [AI transparency](https://www.summerengine.com/ai-transparency)

See how a game was made.

We build tools for making games with AI. We also think making a game without it is an extraordinary feat of craft. Players should be able to see the difference, and creators should get credit for their work.

### [Creator program](https://www.summerengine.com/creator-program)

Make a game people love. Give it a way to support you.

Making a game free or affordable lets more people try it. Optional purchases can help you keep working on it. The creator program exists to make that possible without making every small team build its own payment operation.

### [Sparks](https://www.summerengine.com/sparks)

Sparks are for purchases inside games.

Sparks connect optional purchases across participating Summer Games titles. A creator can offer something inside their game without building a separate purchase system from scratch.

### [Safety](https://www.summerengine.com/safety)

Games should be a place to have fun.

We want to enjoy building Summer, and we want people to enjoy playing here. Predatory behavior, serious abuse, illegal trade and financial abuse would destroy the place we are trying to make. We take that seriously.

### [Publish a game](https://www.summerengine.com/publishing)

Share your game and play it with friends.

You made something. Now you want people to try it, tell you what they think and come back for the next version. That is why we built Summer Games.

### [Multiplayer](https://www.summerengine.com/multiplayer)

Make your game multiplayer. We take care of the servers.

You want to play the game with friends. You should be able to focus on what makes that fun while your agent helps with the complicated code and Summer handles the server infrastructure.

### [Game ownership](https://www.summerengine.com/ownership)

You own your game. You can launch it wherever you want.

We want you to choose Summer because it is a good place to make and share your game. You keep your creative direction and your choice of where the game goes.

### [Modding](https://www.summerengine.com/modding)

We grew up with mods. Now let people mod your game.

Counter-Strike, Dota, Garry’s Mod. Players taking games somewhere unexpected helped shape the gaming culture we love. We want more people to be able to make those kinds of discoveries.
