## How to use it

Choose a base cost, growth rate, level count, and curve. The table shows XP to the next level and cumulative XP; it is a planning aid, not a balance verdict.

1. Set the starting XP and number of levels.
2. Compare linear, quadratic, and exponential growth.
3. Download CSV or JSON and playtest the time between levels.

Read the CSV or JSON in your progression data. Match its level numbering and XP units to your game.

## Questions

What is total XP?

The cumulative XP needed to reach that point in the table.

Which curve is best?

The right curve depends on how fast players earn XP. Test actual play time before adopting the values.
